TWA Announces Summer 2019 Elite Wagyu Performance Test

The TWA Summer 2019 Elite Wagyu Performance Test is hereby announced. This performance test utilizes a “Growsafe” system currently installed at PX Feeders at Evant, Texas to conduct a Wagyu gain and feed efficiency test. The test will measure ten important performance attributes, with feed efficiency data collected from the Growsafe system and other attributes collected from weights and from ultrasound. This test is scheduled to commence in June, with bulls and heifers to be tested to be delivered between 6/10/2019 and 6/14/2019. Animals in the test must have been born between 9/1/2018 and 11/30/2018. The maximum test capacity is 32 bulls and 36 females. To learn more about the test, see the link below to the test rules.
