Time To Register For The 2nd Annual TWA Carcass Competition!

The 1st annual Texas Wagyu Association’s (“TWA’s”) Carcass Competition was a huge success!  Now it’s time to register for the 2nd Annual Wagyu Steer Carcass Competition to be held April 2020!

The competition is scheduled for April 2020 & the basics are as follows:

• Steers will be DNA parent verified with a minimum of sire verification.
• Steers must be registered with the American Wagyu Association (the “AWA”).
• Exhibitors must be in good standing with the TWA.
• Age limits for fullblood and purebred steers are as follows
  • Steers can be no more than a maximum mature slaughter age of 32 months of age on 4/1/2020.
• Age limits for percentage Wagyu steers (50%+ Wagyu but less than purebred) are as follows:
  • Steers must be no more than a maximum mature slaughter age of 26 months of age on 4/1/2020.
