Summer 2017 Elite Wagyu Performance Test
It was announced at the recent TWA general meeting in Salado that a group of Wagyu breeders has arranged to utilize an existing “Growsafe” system currently installed at PX Feeders at Evant, Texas to conduct a Wagyu gain and feed efficiency test. This test is scheduled to commence in June, with bulls and heifers to be tested to be delivered between 6/4/2017 and 6/9/2017. Animals in the test must have been born between 9/1/2016 and 11/30/2016.
