Speakers & Agenda Are Set For The 2020 TWA Annual Meeting And 11th Annual “Steaks Are High Sale”

Speakers and Agenda for the Texas Wagyu Association annual meeting and sale that will be held in Salado Texas on April 24th and 25th.

We have a great list of speakers at this years conference that will provide us with some very useful information. The agenda is as follows:

Friday, 04/24/2020
• 8:00 A.M. – Sign-In & Membership Sign-Up
• 9:00 A.M. – John Doyle – World renowned nutritionist who specializes in Wagyu cattle.
• 10:30 A.M. – Don Coover – A veterinarian /embryologist from Kansas that is very knowledgeable on         the various diseases that affect the Wagyu breed.
• 12:00 P.M. – Wagyu hamburger lunch
• 1:00 P.M. – Scott de Bruin – Managing director of Mayura – a vertically integrated Full-blood        Wagyu operation in Australia that includes breeding, feedlot and marketing / distribution.
• 2:30 P.M. – Robert Williams, Ph.D. – Executive Director of the American Wagyu Association.
• 3:45 P.M. – Update on the 2nd Annual Carcass Competition – TWA board member Aaron Startz,
• 4:30 P.M. – Annual General Meeting of members
• 5:30 P.M. – Fun auction of donated auction items with proceeds benefitting the TWA
• 6:00 P.M. – Cocktails & Wagyu dinner
• 7:30 P.M. – Carcass Auction
Saturday, 04/25/2020
• 8:00 A.M. – Sale cattle viewing
• 12:00 P.M. – Wagyu brisket lunch
• 1:00 – P.M. 11th Annual “Steaks Are High” Wagyu sale
