FUN AUCTION DONATION REQUEST:
As always, this year’s Friday evening event includes the “Fun Auction”, with all proceeds going directly to the TWA to help with the TWA’s efforts to market the Wagyu breed. These funds help to pay for events such as the meetings and sales, the first ever Wagyu carcass competition, the Houston Stock Show Wagyu competition, and Wagyu performance tests. These funds also help us market the breed at major industry conventions where the TWA has a booth. The TWA is asking for donation of items for the Fun Auction. Items that have been donated in the past include, but are not limited to: cattle feed, semen packages, belt buckles, blankets, wine baskets, sporting events tickets, and vacations. Please feel free to be creative! E-mail Jeri Tulley at jtulley@centraltexaswagyubeef.com with donations.
VOLUNTEER PHOTOGRAPHER NEEDED:
As this is the 10th anniversary of the TWA’s The Steaks are High sale, we are looking for a volunteer photographer among our membership who would like to record our event and preserve the memories of the day. Anyone interested in volunteering please contact Tim Conrad at gycbeef@gmail.com.
