TWA Seeking Indications Of Interest For A Spring 2019 Performance Test
The TWA today announced that indications of interest are being requested for an additional TWA Elite Wagyu Performance Test to test animals born in the Spring / Early Summer of 2018. This “Spring Test” would require early April 2019 delivery of animals to be tested. This would be a second performance test conducted in 2019, and would provide an opportunity for TWA members to test animals born in early 2018 as opposed to the September-November birthing window required for animals participating in the Summer performance test. This opportunity has arisen due to unexpected availability of the Growsafe system installed at PX Feeders that is normally not available in the spring season. For this test, animals to be tested must be delivered to PX Feeders at Evant, Texas between April 1, 2019 and April 5, 2019. At this time, until a final decision is made regarding the animal birthing window, there is flexibility in the allowed birthing window and interest from TWA members is being sought so that a three-month birthing window can be finalized. An acceptable birthing window could be any contiguous three-month period in the January 1, 2018 through June 30, 2018 time period, which three-month period will be finalized based upon TWA member interest in this proposed test.
